Hospital Pharmacist - Cardiac and Med/Surg ICUs

As a Pharmacist in the Cardiac ICU & Medical/Surgical ICU at Children's Hospital Boston, you'll help care for children with complex illnesses as a key member of a tight-knit, experienced and supportive team. Our integrated pharmacotherapy model, excellent resources and leading-edge technologies, such as physician order-entry and soon-to-be barcode point of care systems, also help to create an environment where you can excel. This is an opportunity to participate in intensive and quaternary care in our leading-edge pediatric intensive care units.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, drug information, patient education, medication history documentation, quality improvement activities. Supervision of support personnel, ensuring products are prepared and distributed in accordance with established procedures, schedules and protocols. Preparing and maintaining documentation required by hospital and regulatory agencies.

Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy plus two years of post--degree hospital pharmacy are required. Doctorate degree with hospital pharmacy residency and one year ICU experience preferred. Current state licensure and registration by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy as a Pharmacist required.
