Clinical Pharmacy Specialist
Job Summary:
In this position, you'll compound and dispense medications using prescriptions authorized by a physician. You'll instruct patients on medication including potential drug interactions and review patient medication history for allergies and drug interactions.
 
Minimum Requirements:- Minimum of two years hospital or institutional experience desired
- Must be a graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) with a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
- Must have current Nevada license to practice pharmacy or eligibility
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills required
- Demonstrate ability to master a specialty area such as surgery, intensive care, pediatrics, oncology, IV additives, computer systems or automated dispensing
