Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor
Job Summary:

The Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor is responsible for coordinating activities to provide pharmaceutical care for patients.  Responsibilities also include:


Coordinates, promotes and evaluates the activities of professional personnel providing pharmaceutical care.

Provides reports to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee and participates in related subcommittees as required.

Provides pharmacotherapy education to health care professionals.

Participates in continuous quality improvement activities to improve pharmaceutical care for patients.

 
Minimum Requirements:- Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) leading to a BS Degree required
- Pharm D or Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy, residency/fellowship or equivalent preferred
- Experience in the direction and development of purchasing, inventory control, formulary development and budgetary control programs required
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical and supervisory experience with progressively increasing responsibility required
- Current Nevada license to practice pharmacy or eligibility required
